Hello Hello!

Eccomi di nuovo per postare la mia card come ospite al  Cardmania Challenge.

I'm here again to post my card as GDT at Cardmania Challenge.

Il tema da usare è "Usare la carta Kraft", bè, abbastanza semplice per me visto che amo usarla in quasi tutti i miei progetti!

The theme to follow is: "Use Kraft paper", well, quite easy for me because I love using it on almost all my projects!

L'ho pensata per il compleanno di mio fratello Andrea ed ho usato una graziosissima immagine della Lili of the Valley; sono sempre in difficoltà quando devo creare una card maschile, ma i maschietti della Lili of the Valley sono così carini, che è un piacere create con loro!

I created it for my brother Andrea's birthday and I used a super lovely LOTV image; I'm always in a spot when I've to create a masculine card, but I think that Lili of the Valley images are so cute that creating with them is just a pleasure !

Ho utilizzato la graziosa "Tilda with Ponytail" dalla collezione "Sweet Rainbow" di un paio di anni fa; l'ho colorata con i miei amati Distress Inks, ritagliata e quindi incollata con del biadesivo spessorato.

I used the lovely "Tilda with Ponytail" from the "Sweet Rainbow Collection"; I painted her with Distress Inks, cutted out and glued with double-sided thick tape.

 

Le carte sono della Maja Design, ideali per lo stile Shabby!

Papers are from Maja Design, they are just perfect the the Shabby style!

I nastrini e le letterine provengono da un negozio della mia città (Pensieri di Carta), presso il quale la settimana scorsa ho tenuto un piccolo corso su come colorare con i Distress Inks e costruire una Criss Cross card :)

The ribbons and the little letters comes from a shop on my city (Pensieri di Carta) where I had a little workshop last week and I tried to show to some lovely ladies to use Distress Inks and to create a Criss Cross card :)

 

Il pizzo e la catena di perle, invece provengono da The Ribbon Girl così come alcuni dei fiori e gli spilloni.

The Pearl Lace and the Pearl Bead String are from The Ribbon Girl as well as some flowers and the pins.

Eccomi di nuovo! Ve l'avevo detto che sarebbe stata una giornata piena oggi...

Here i am again! I told you today is a very busy day, eheh!

Questo secondo post della giornata riguarda un Layout che ho realizzando combinando il nuovo sketch uscito lunedì scorso per la nostra nuova sfida al CLP challenge blog con la sfida di Scrappando di questo mese per la quale ho il grande onore di essere ospite!

This second post of the day is about a Layout that i realized combining the new Chelsea's Sketch published last Monday for our brand new challenge at CLP challenge blog, with the Scrappando (an italian shop) challenge of this month, i'm their guest and it's a great honor for me!

Well, this is the CLP Sketch #57 for April:

Mentre la sfida di Scrappando da questo mese ha qualcosa di nuovo: potete realizzare tutto ciò che volete, un Layout, un Home Decor, una card, ma rispettando l'elemento che il team propone di usare e questo mese il vostro progetto dovrà includere...attenzione...delle piume!

While the Scrappando challenge is a little different from the past: you can realize whatever you want, a Layout a Home Decor or a card, but you have to add an element proposed by the team; this month the element to add is...attention please...some feathers!

Devo dire che non è stato facilissimo, mi sono venute diverse idee in testa, ma era tanto che volevo scrappare questa foto di Niki quando era piccolino, così ho colto al volo l'occasione!

I've to tell that it hasn't been so easy, i had several ideas in my mind, but i wanted to scrap this lovely Niki's pic for a long time and i took the chance!

 Ho aggiunto tre piume come fossero di un angelo caduto dal cielo :) e ci ho timbrato sopra le parole: "Life is Good"...

I added three feathers as if they were of an angel fallen from the heaven :) and i stamped on them the words: "Life is Good"

 Ho usato un'immagine davvero molto graziosa della Saturated Canary chiamata "Princess Snow": l'ho amata a prima vista! La sua faccia graziosa e allampanata, il vestito e i capelli! Mi sono divertita davvero tanto a colorarla :)

  I used this pretty image called "Princess Snow"  from Saturated Canary; i immediately loved her! Her gangling and lovely face, the dress and her hair! I had lot of fun coloring her :)

C’è forse qualcuno che ancora non lo conosce? Bè, se è così andate a visitarlo immediatamente QUI e rimarrete incantati, come me la prima volta che l’ho visto!

I imagine everybody knows this shop, but if you don't, go immediately HERE to have a look around, you'll sure be amazed as me the first time i visited it!

Bene, per l’occasione ho pensato di realizzare qualcosa di un po’ diverso dal mio solito: rimango sempre incantata davanti ai progetti Vintage realizzati dalle fantastiche ragazze che compongono questo team, così ho pensato di provare.

Well, i took the chance to realize something different: i always admire the fab Vintage projects created by the fab Live and Love DT gals, so i thought to try.

Le immagini che ho usato sono scaricate da internet, ma ce ne sono di bellissime nell’ultima collezione della Pion Design che, ovviamente troverete in questo shop, date un’occhiata QUI per esempio :)

I used images downloaded from Internet, but there are something very beautiful from the last Pion Design collection that you can obviously find at the shop, have a look HERE  for example :)

Il tema del challenge di questo mese è “Easter”, ovvero “Pasqua” e ciò che vedete qui sopra non è altro che un sacchetto contenente un paio di golosità.

Hello everybody!

Oggi sono qui a scrivere un post davvero speciale.
Qualche tempo fa ho ricevuto una di quelle mail che ti fanno dire: "Oh mammaaaa, non ci posso credere!"
Tracy  del  Copic Marker Europe blog mi chiedeva di essere loro ospite per il mese di dicembre, ovviamente ho detto di si, anche se in realtà mi è venuta subito l'ansia!
Tutte le ragazze del DT sono incredibilmente brave, fate un giretto sul blog appena potete, troverete un sacco di ispirazioni e tutorial interessanti :)
Here I am today writing a very special post.

Some times ago I received an exciting email, the kind of email that make you smile and say: “Wowww, I can’t believe it”!

Well, the lovely Tracy from Copic Marker Europe asked me to be guest for December and obviously I answered “Yes, of course!” even if I was a bit scared and ansious.

All DT girls are so talented and they inspire me on every post, I thank them all for their hard work and for the great chance to join them today.

Quando ho iniziato a colorare questa immagine, non l'avevo pensata per questo evento e c'è stato un momento mentre stavo colorando il cielo in cui ho pensato di dover buttare tutto! Stavo sperimentando un pochino, ma il risultato sembrava non essere un granché...alla fine però sono stata soddisfatta ed ho deciso che poteva andare per l'occasione... 

When I started colouring this image i made it for another occasion and there has been a moment when I was colouring the sky that I tought: “well, I have to throw everything on the trash!”, it was an experiment for me and something seemed don’t work well, but finally I was quite satisfied on the result and decided to use it for this special occasion…

 

L'immagine che ho usato si chiama Christmas Eve Countdown ed è della Make it Crafty: un grosso Babbo Natale "Steampunk" che sta aspettando la mezzanotte per calarsi dal camino col suo sacco, divertente, no?!

The image I used is called “Christmas Eve Countdown”  from Make it Crafty: a big and Steampunk Santa waiting till midnight to descend thru the chimney with his Christmas sack! Too fun :)

Per quanto riguarda il cielo: l'ho colorato con i copic (E91-E93-E95-E97), poi per uniformarli un pochino ed ottenere un risultato un pochino più brillante, ho mascherato l'immagine e poi ho spruzzato abbondantemente con il glimmer mist "Autumn Nights" e l'ho asciugato con l'embosser. Poi ho stampato i fiocchi di neve con il Versamark e li ho embossati con la polvere with; alla fine ho aggiunto ed embossato un po' di polvere bianca qua e la per creare l'effetto neve.
About the sky: I’ve coloured it with my copics (E91-E93-E95-E97), then to obtain a more uniform and brillant result, I masked my image and I copiously sprayed the sky with the “Autumn nights” glimmer mist and dried with my embosser. Then  I printed the snowflakes here and there with Versamark Ink and embossed them with the white embossing powder; I finally added some embossing powder here and there to create the snow effect.

Nel frattempo ho risposto alla chiamata da DT e...sono stata scelta!!! Continuerò a postare sul Copic Marker Europe per un paio di volte al mese; l'incarico è sempre a tempo determinato e non so ancora fino a quando starò, ma la notizia è grandiosa!!!

Good Morning everybody!

Con oggi comnincio ufficialmente la mia produzione natalizia! E' solo fine settembre eppure anche quest'anno mi sento di essere in ritardo...già da luglio i blog sono pieni di card natalizie!

Today i officially start my Christmas production!  It's just the end of September, but i feel i'm going to be late this year too! I know people are making Christmas cards since July or August...

In genere penso che i colori rossi siano molto difficili da gestire, ma ho trovato questa combinazione che lega alla perfezione! I colori si sfumano benissimo e colorare questo piccolo elfetto è stato un vero piacere!

I generally don't love reds, because i think they are a little hard to handle, but i found this great combo and colours blend perfectly! Colouring this little elf has been a real pleasure!
