Consueta card della domenica per il blog di Live and Love Crafts , ma oggi ho qualcosa di diverso dal solito perché ho creato una card dal sapore Vintage, utilizzando una bellissima immagine proveniente dalla collezione "From Grandma's attic - Tinted" della Pion Design:

Today I've something a little different for me, I created a card with a lovely vintage image from the super lovely sheet called "Girls", part of a vintage tinted images collection from Pion Design: "From Grandma's attic - Tinted":

Ho aggiunto fiori, nastri e pizzi come abbellimento per creare una card romantica nei toni del viola; ho distressato le carte sia con il distressing tool che dando qualche tocco del Distress Ink "Vintage Photo" qua e là:

I added flowers, Laces and ribbons as usual to create a romantic card on violet tones; I distressed papers with both the distressing tool and some little touches of Vintage Photo Distress Ink:

...della serie "non si butta via niente", ho anche riciclato il nome della collezione riportato sulle carte della Pion Design: "Easter Greetings"!
...I also recycled the name of the Pion Design Collection "Easter Greetings" as sentiment for my card!

Noor Design Inspiration Post: A Vintage Card

Hello Hello everybody, me again!

It's my turn today to share with you all a little project using some stunning Noor Design products.

I have made a vintage card with a lovely  little girl as protagonist: 

Let's see this wonderful Cutting and Embossing border die:

and this super cute butterfly:

I cut out a pair of them and I layered them to give a 3D effect.

Another pair of lovely butterflies here:

I finally used this fab frame around the image, I think it gives a so elegant touch!

I added some touches of liquid pearls here and there, I think they are just perfect for the lovely swirls of Noor Design's dies!

Green at The Ribbon Girl: a Vintage Card

Oggi è uscita una nuova  sfida a tema colore al The Ribbon Girl Challenge Blog: Verde, colore non semplicissimo per me!

Today we have a new colour challenge at The Ribbon Girl Challenge Blog: Green, colour not so simple for me!

 

Ho scelto di realizzare una card un pochino diversa dal solito, non ne faccio spesso, ma in realtà lo stile e le immagini Vintage mi piacciono molto!
I chose to create a card a little different from my usual and out of my confort zone, but even if I don't realize them so often, I love vintage cards and images!

 

(I used: Rose Bud Large Ivory White, Ivory 30mm Wild Roses, Iced Lime Green Seam Binding, 6mm Hearts Ivory Silk Self Adhesive, 8mm Hearts Ivory Self Adhesive, Ivory 20mm Open Rose WOC, Darjeeling White Blossom Flowers, 40mm 'Gertrude' Embroided Net Lace)

Crafting Life's Pieces-61 August Sketch Challenge

Ho alterato una scatola di biscotti danesi al burro, dopo averla vuotata del suo contenuto, sigh! Non so se li conoscete, ma sono davvero buoni!

I altered a tin box of danish butter cookies, after ate all the biscuits, sigh! Have you ever eaten them? The are really yummy!

Ho dimenticato di fotografare la scatola originale, ma ho facilmente trovato un'immagine su Internet, eccola qua:

Vorrei tenerci dentro tutti gli elastici e le altre cosine che uso per legare i capelli a Camilla...

I'd love to use it for the things that I use to tie Camilla's  hair up; elastics, hair band, etc...

 

 

Ho tentato lo stile Vintage usando questa bella immagine presa dalle carte della Pion Design; trovo che questa bimba abbia una faccetta molto graziosa e un po' furbetta, per questo mi è piaciuta tanto!

I wanted to try creating in Vintage Style using this lovely image from Pion Design Papers; I find that this little girl has a very lovely and arch little face, this is the reason why I loved her at first sight!

C’è forse qualcuno che ancora non lo conosce? Bè, se è così andate a visitarlo immediatamente QUI e rimarrete incantati, come me la prima volta che l’ho visto!

I imagine everybody knows this shop, but if you don't, go immediately HERE to have a look around, you'll sure be amazed as me the first time i visited it!

Bene, per l’occasione ho pensato di realizzare qualcosa di un po’ diverso dal mio solito: rimango sempre incantata davanti ai progetti Vintage realizzati dalle fantastiche ragazze che compongono questo team, così ho pensato di provare.

Well, i took the chance to realize something different: i always admire the fab Vintage projects created by the fab Live and Love DT gals, so i thought to try.

Le immagini che ho usato sono scaricate da internet, ma ce ne sono di bellissime nell’ultima collezione della Pion Design che, ovviamente troverete in questo shop, date un’occhiata QUI per esempio :)

I used images downloaded from Internet, but there are something very beautiful from the last Pion Design collection that you can obviously find at the shop, have a look HERE  for example :)

Il tema del challenge di questo mese è “Easter”, ovvero “Pasqua” e ciò che vedete qui sopra non è altro che un sacchetto contenente un paio di golosità.

The Challenge theme this month is "Easter" and what you can se on my pic is a bag containing some goodies.
